The YMCA swim team is a structured, competitive swim program which provides opportunities for young swimmers to compete in local, regional & state YMCA meets. Practices incorporate strengthening, conditioning & endurance in order to provide swimmers with a solid foundation for developing & improving each of the competitive strokes. Our experienced YMCA coaches utilize progressive, disciplined workouts to build strong, capable & confident swimmers and competitors.

Franklin YMCA 2024-25 Fall/Winter Swim Team:

Handbook & Registration packet is issued at the time of registration. Parent & swimmer paperwork should be completed & returned prior to participant starting the program. If you have additional questions, please refer to the Team Handbook & Registration packet or contact Coach Kia Wirth

Fees: For Bronze, Silver & Gold swimmers- A $25 registration fee and the initial month’s team fee are due at time of registration. For the rest of the season, team fees will be charged automatically on the 10th of each month.

For swimmers who compete on a local High School swim team- A $25 registration fee & a one-time fee is all that is required. (No monthly billing)

Franklin YMCA  Summer Swim Team:

• The goal of our Summer Swim Team is to foster a love of swimming. Summer Swim Team will focus on stroke development, conditioning and helping to maintain a feel of the water in preparation for fall.
• Summer  Swim Team is a perfect fit for returning swimmers, those who would like to try out swim team for the 1st time, or for those looking for cross-training.
• Swimmers will be given the opportunity to participate in 2-3 meets. YMCA membership is required for meet participation.
