The YMCA swim team is a structured, competitive swim program which provides opportunities for young swimmers to compete in local, regional & state YMCA meets. Practices incorporate strengthening, conditioning & endurance in order to provide swimmers with a solid foundation for developing & improving each of the competitive strokes. Our experienced YMCA coaches utilize progressive, disciplined workouts to build strong, capable & confident swimmers and competitors.

Franklin YMCA 2023-24 Winter Swim Team- Handbook & Registration packet is issued at the time of registration. Parent & swimmer paperwork should be completed & returned prior to participant starting the program. Fees:

For Bronze, Silver & Gold swimmers- A $25 registration fee and the initial month’s team fee are due at time of registration. For the rest of the season, team fees will be charged automatically on the 10th of each month.

For swimmers who compete on a local High School swim team- A $25 registration fee & a one-time fee is all that is required. (No monthly billing)

Franklin YMCA  Summer Swim Team:

Returning team members should sign-up for the division they swam the previous year or check w/ the current swim team coach. New swimmers should contact the current swim team coach to determine which division to register for.

Summer Swim schedule includes 3 separate sessions. Participants may sign up for 1, 2 or 3 sessions. Sessions fees will be charged automatically, to the account on file, on the first day of each session if not paid IN FULL at the time of registration.

May 15 -June 9: Bronze: Mon, Wed, Fri, 4:30-5 PM;  Silver: Mon – Wed & Fri, 4:30-5:45 PM;  Gold: Mon – Fri, 4:30-6 PM

June 12 – July 7: Bronze: Mon, Wed, Fri, 9:30- 10 AM;  Silver: Mon -Wed & Fri, 8:45 – 10 AM & Tues, 10 – 11:15 AM;  Gold: Mon, Wed, Fri, 8 – 9:30 AM & Tues/ Thurs, 9:45 – 11:15 AM

July 10 – Aug 4: practice times same as prior session
